We came to know Brayden through his uncle and former SOS trainer, Kirk McElroy.
Brayden was 5 years old In January of 2014 when he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his kidneys. As any loving uncle would, Kirk came to us to brainstorm ideas and to ultimately collaborate on an event to show Brayden and his family the system of support and strength around them and to help ease the burden of the situation.
Enter Keep Moving.
Our first Outdoor Class for a Cause was born that year with all profits dedicated and donated to Brayden and his family. Just shy of 100 people from our community banded together for a two hour workout, and to donate to this amazing and beautiful boy.
We raised $3,750 that day.
Fast forward to today, and Brayden is a healthy 8 year old who loves basketball, baseball, the Cavs, and spending time with his friends. He has been cancer-free for over two years and this coming August marks two years off-treatment.
Brayden is and always will be an SOS warrior. Keep Moving Brayden!!!
